Ark is inspired by the Christian belief that at some point in our lives any one of us may need a helping hand and seek support. It is for those moments that Ark is here. Ark has already helped many people turn their lives around. If you need a hand in breaking free from the issues that have taken hold of your life then the Ark is there – just for you.

Currently our weekly timetable looks like this:-

Tuesday 2-9 drop-in centre at the United Reformed Church
Wednesday by appointment
Thursday 9-5 drop-in centre at the United Reformed Church including breakfast and lunch
Friday by appointment
Saturday -
Sunday Church (most of the ARK family attend one of the many Churches in Horsham)
We continue to be so very very grateful to the United Reformed Church for allowing us to use their premises. May God bless you abundantly for the way you have blessed ARK
Back in the summer ARK took 7 people to Encounter Camp. This camp is specifically run to help meet the needs of those with life-controlling issues. All those who attended had a wonderful time and are looking forward to next year's camp.
We are so excited to see how God is bringing ARK a team of volunteers with a whole variety of skills and life experiences...together we make a wonderful ARK family.
We have been very blessed in the last month with donations of food and financial gifts from a number of different churches and schools' harvest festivals. It has also been encouraging to see how God continues to provide regular food donations through a number of individuals and churches. Thank you to all involved!
We have also had the wonderful gift of a brand new table tennis table which is fantastic and will be so well used.
Looking ahead to Christmas ... we are all excited to be able to get the ARK family together over the Christmas period. More details in our December newsletter.
Please keep ARK in your prayers...God is blessing us so much but there are also many challenges ahead as we seek to bring the Kingdom of God into the lives of all who come to us.
Thank you for your continued interest and support of ARK. May God bless you ABUNDANTLY.

Listen!
When I ask you to listen to me and you start by giving advice, you have not done what I asked,
When I ask you to listen to me and you begin to tell my why I shouldn't feel like that, you are trampling on my feelings.
When I ask you to listen to me and you feel you have to do something to solve my problems, you have failed me, strange as that may seem.
Listen, all that I asked was that you listen, not talk or do - just hear me. Advice is cheap and I can do for myself. I am not helpless. Maybe discouraged and faltering but not helpless.
When you do something for me that I can and need to do for myself, you contribute to my fear and weakness
But when you accept as a simple fact that I do feel what I feel, no matter how irrational, then I can stop trying to convince you and set about the business of understanding what is behind this irrational feeling.
When that's clear the answers are obvious and I don't need advice. Irrational Feelings make sense when you understand what's behind them.
So please listen and just hear me.
And if you want to talk, wait a minute for your turn, and I'll listen to you.
